More About Burrtec's

Three-Cart Trash & Recycling System

Rancho Mirage residents have begun to receive the new three-cart trash and recycling system. This is required by Senate Bill 1383 and includes the addition of state mandated organics recycling and specific colored waste and recycling bins.

The standard size for carts being delivered to Rancho Mirage residents is 35-gallons however, upon receiving your new carts, determining your space for storage and evaluating your individual waste needs, you may exchange the standard 35-gallon carts for 65-gallon carts at no additional charge for trash (grey) and recycling (blue).

For any additional carts ordered beyond the standard or for additional organic waste (green), there will be an additional service fee. For questions or service requests, please contact Burrtec at (760) 340-2113 or to order services online, click here.

For more information on what to expect, how to sort and what doesn’t belong in your carts, please visit our SB-1383 Residential FAQ webpage.
