City of Tampa Holiday Office Closures

In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays, the City of Tampa offices will be closed on December 23rd, December 26th, and January 2nd. See revised Solid Waste trash collection schedules here

The City of Tampa is seeking 200 users to provide feedback on the new Mobility as a Service (MaaS) pilot program with Moovit, an urban mobility app that helps users plan multimodal trips, whether they prefer to walk, bike, scoot, drive, ride the streetcar or take the bus. The Moovit app is available for everyone to download. Sign up to provide feedback on the MaaS pilot program. 

Tree Removal Statutory Exemption
Senate Bill 518 amends the requirements that must be met in order for a property owner to utilize Florida Statutes § 163.045 to be exempt from the City of Tampa’s tree removal permitting requirements. Learn more about the updated requirements.

The Martin Luther King Parade Foundation, Inc. is gearing up its 2023 activities to celebrate the life and legacy of Civil Rights Activist the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The 2023 MLK Parade will be held on January 16th at 12 pm, beginning at Cuscaden Park (2901 N. 15th Ave).
