EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Meet Angelina Medina, Office Support Specialist IV at the Tampa Convention Center. She has worked for the City for 7 months and her position works with every department at TCC.  She enjoys meeting new people every day, whether it’s through working with fellow City staff or event clients.

Where’s your favorite place in Tampa? Ben T. Davis Beach and Cypress Point Park are my favorite places so far. Ben T. Davis Park is a great place to go with the family for some volleyball and a picnic and water sports, whereas Cypress Point Park is a great date night spot to watch the sunset with your loved one.

What is a professional accomplishment that you are most proud of? My greatest accomplishment outside of my family would be going back to school and getting my Bachelor’s Degree and then returning again to obtain my Master’s Degree recently. I went to the University of Phoenix for both and they are both in Business: a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master in Business Administration (MBA).

Do you have any pets? I have a chunky old Chihuahua named Chico. He is the best dog ever.

What are you binging on Netflix right now? I was binge-watching House of Dragon until it ended. Now, I am on 911 and Chicago Med (though they are not on Netflix).
