Freedom Race
7:00pm: Free Fun Race
7:30pm: 5K Freedom Run
As part of the Clawson 4th of July Celebration, the Clawson 4th of July Committee is proud to host 3 races for the community.

The Clawson Freedom Run 5k and 1 mile-fun run are held on the last Sunday evening in June.

The 5k starts just outside of Clawson City Park, and winds through the neighborhood before finishing inside the park.

The 1-mile fun run is run entirely on the woodchipped path inside the park.

The Firecracker Mile is run on the 4th of July and precedes the parade down 14 Mile Road.

At least $1000 in prizes are awarded to Firecracker mile racers every year (that the race is held).

The races are always in need of volunteers (registration workers, road guards and split timers).

We start at Clawson Middle School Parking lot & travel down Phillips Avenue to North Custer Avenue & end at Clawson City Park!

Refreshments for sale at the Park.

Best Float/Wagon
Best Costume
Best Use Of Theme (Red, White, Boom)

You may participate in only one category

The day of the parade we are ALWAYS in need of volunteers (registration workers, road guards, etc.)
