Environment Day Storytime

Our stories will be about earth and what we can do to keep it beautiful. We will also have jokes, poems, songs and a craft. Program is for children 2-5 years old with a caregiver.
Sea Creature Storytime

This special storytime is all about sea creatures! Stories, jokes, poems, songs and crafts are all part of this program. For children 2-5 years old and a caregiver.
At the Pond Storytime

Join Kidsapce for At the Pond Storytime. We will share stories, songs, rhymes, and early literacy tips for caregivers. For children 2-5 years old with a caregiver.
Memory Loss, When to Worry

Michelle Wyman of Hartford HealthCare's Center for Healthy Aging is coming to the Wilson Branch Library. She will teach us the differences between forgetfulness and more serious memory problems. She will also discuss causes of memory loss. Give us tips and techniques to have the tough conversation about dementia and next steps.
Toddler Art Club

It's time to get our little hands messy making some fabulous toddler art. Make sure to wear some old clothes as we will be using paint! This program is for kids ages 2 to 5 and a caregiver. Drop-in.
Novice Night: Still Life Drawing

Join us for "Novice Night: Still Life Drawing". Using charcoal, graphite or colored pencil we'll render the still life scene laid before us with attention to light, perspective and composition. All abilities welcome! No one's an expert at Novice Nights; the joy is in trying something new and creating art in community!
Paint a Piggy Bank

Mini Ologists

Kidspace has a new program for Mini Ologists to explore various ologies with hands-on exploration and scientific inquiry. Ages 6-12.
Art Afternoon

Kidspace welcomes artists age 6-11 years old. Each month we will learn about a different artist or art style and then create our own masterpieces. This month is all about Food as an Art Form. From the famous painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo to modern artists who use food for sculptures and paintings. Have fun creating your food art.
Wood Engraving Drop-In

Drop by and try out our soldering tools for wood engraving. Bring your own piece of wood to engrave or just practice on a piece of scrap. Waivers must be signed to use soldering tool.
