Hogwarts Tri-Wizard Reading Tournament

All Day
Put your name in the Goblet of Fire and compete in our Hogwarts Tri-Wizard Reading Tournament. Each of the Hogwarts houses will be competing for a winter reading challenge starting December 12th through February 27th. Visit Kidspace to sign up and get placed in your Hogwarts house. The house that logs the most reading minutes will win the Tri-Wizard Tournament and enjoy everlasting fame in the wizarding world. Participants will get to join in on an ending ceremony party on March 7th where we will celebrate the winning team.
Sing & Stomp

Come dance and wiggle with us in Kidspace. This music and movement based program is for children ages 5 and under and their caregivers.
Mad Science

Let’s get whacky with Mad Science in Kidspace. We’ll be doing fun, kid friendly science experiments. We will be making gingerbread slime for the December activity. Ages 6 to 12.
Jewelry Club

Wires and strings and beads, oh my! Stop by the Wilson Branch Library’s Jewelry Club every other Wednesday to make bracelets, earrings, waist beads, and more. Materials provided. Ages 13 to 18.
Time Box

Kidspace will be creating our own TIME BOX. What should we put in the time box? Do you have something fun and special you want to add? Our Time Box will be sealed until next summer at our Kidspace Summer Reading Kickoff. This program is for ages 5 years and older.
Afternoon Art

Monthly Afternoon Art welcomes school age children 6-11 years old. At each session we will be learning about a different artist or art style and then create our own masterpieces.
Ugly Sweater Party

Create some fun festive attire at our Ugly Sweater Party. Families of all ages welcome. This event is "BYOS: bring your own sweater" so make sure to come prepared!
