From: Fairfield Migration Madness

Greetings!

Take a look at this carving of a Rock Ptarmigan.

Beautiful, isn't it? Keith Mueller, who has been carving professionally for 4 decades, has donated it as the Grand Prize in this year's Migration Madness Birdathon, Saturday and Sunday, May 20 and 21.

Collectors covet Keith's carvings. His birds sell for literally thousands of dollars.

Thanks to Keith's generosity, we are able to offer it as the Grand Prize in this year's Birdathon.

And we want as many people as possible to have a chance to win it.

You'll be eligible if you register for the Birdathon, submit lists for Saturday and Sunday with at least 40 bird species, and raise at least $40.

The $10 registration fee counts toward the $40.

We'll conduct a random drawing next week to pick a winner of Keith Mueller's Rock Ptarmigan.

Register for the Birdathon HERE.

Then plan to go birding anywhere in Connecticut on Saturday, May 20, and Sunday, May 21.

We have a DOZEN guided bird walks scheduled throughout the state to help you find your 40 species.

But you can also go on your own, or with a group of friends.

Here are the Birdathon and Photo Contest rules, plus a list of all prizes.

The 2 most important things to remember are:

 - The Birdathon is a lot of fun.
 - Every dollar you contribute or raise will go directly toward conserving birds in Connecticut.

Questions? Let me know.

Thank you!
