The Creative Thread Festival is Weaving Art, Food, and Community Together! Come enjoy the Creative Thread Festival on Saturday, September 14th. Local vendors, artist demonstrations, kids activities, and of course fiber arts. All this and more is happening on Bainbridge Island, steps away from the Bainbridge Quilt Festival!

Local Vendors

Stop by and say hello to local artists and vendors who will be setting up booths at the festival. A selection of food vendors will also be providing items for purchase.

Artist Demonstrations

In addition to demonstrations by local artists, the band “Harmony Wombats” will be performing live at the festival!

Kids Activities

Several nonprofit organizations will participate with interactive and hands on activities for adults and children of all ages. Kids are also encouraged to participate in the Community Friendship Banner.

We are gathering handmade pennants crafted by members of the community that will be connected and displayed throughout Winslow Way as part of the celebration. To participate, add you own designs using the pennant template below! Submission instructions are on the template.

Bainbridge Quilt Festival

The Creative Thread Festival is happening in conjunction with the annual Bainbridge Quilt Festival from 10 am to 4 pm. The Bainbridge Island Modern Quilt Guild will display their quilts on the Winslow Green. The Creative Thread Fest will be located across the street in the Marge Williams Parking.
