PENNSYLVANIA — David McCormick accepted an endorsement from an organization that wants to ban IVF, according to a new report from Heartland Signal.

• Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate David McCormick recently received an endorsement from LIFEPAC, a local anti-abortion organization that fully opposes reproductive procedures like abortion and in-vitro fertilization (IVF).

• “Our mission is to seek, identify and support candidates for public office who are dedicated to the sanctity of human life,” the website says. “We do this based on signed responses to questionnaires, personal interviews, public statements and actions.”

• LIFEPAC also attacked IVF access last month in a Facebook post urging Congress to vote “no” on a bill to ensure the legal right to the procedure.

• “IVF causes the death of abandonment of millions of children and is not pro-life nor pro-child. Please oppose these measures,” the post reads.

• McCormick’s campaign did not immediately respond to an email request for comment asking whether he accepts LIFEPAC’s endorsement and agrees with the organization’s point of view on reproductive rights. In March, McCormick’s campaign has previously refused to indicate whether McCormick would vote for a drafted bill to protect IVF if elected to the Senate.
