From: Creative 360Midland, MI -- Creative 360 is hosting an Animal Welfare Talk featuring Dr. Jesse Donahue, an internationally recognized exotic captive animal law expert.
Dr. Jesse Donahue, a distinguished figure in the field of Animal Welfare, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the community. Dr. Donahue is a professor in the Political Science department at Saginaw Valley State University where she teaches courses on animal politics and law, the presidency, gender and politics, terrorism, and statistics. She has coauthored five books, most of which are about exotic captive animal law, politics, and history. Dr. Donahue is set to deliver an engaging and informative talk that addresses critical issues facing animals today.
The talk, based on her research on the history, politics, and law of exotic captive animals in the United States, will provide an overview of how zoos, sanctuaries, and exotic pet ownership emerged. Additionally, she will touch on major interest group concerns about these institutions as well as the current animal welfare and conservation laws impacting exotic captive animals.

This event takes place February 8th from 7:00-9:00pm, and is open to the public. The talk will be at the 5501 Jefferson Ave location.
