Schedule of Events
Fun Run
The Fun Run started in 2013 as part of Evanston's sesquicentennial celebration (her 150th birthday) and is for children 10 and under (or so). Check-in and Race Packet Pickup begin at 12 Noon in Ackerman Park (at McDaniel & Central St.) and the run starts at 12:45 pm.
The run is only 0.7 of a mile and takes place on Central St. Participants run west on Central St. to Fire Station 5, turn around and return to Ackerman Park. The first 125 checked-in participants will receive a special t-shirt, race bib and ribbon. Refreshments will be available.
Registration costs $15.00 per child. The payment form will accept payment for up to three children in one transaction. Please provide the names and ages of the children you are paying the fee for in the space provided on the Registration Form. This will make check-in on July 4 much quicker for everyone!
Please check-in ON-SITE at Ackerman Park so that your child receives their race bib, t-shirt and ribbon.
T-shirts, bibs and ribbons will be available to the first 125 children checked-in on race day, the 4th of July.
