Our Missoula Children’s Theatre camps may be sold out but you can still maximize your child’s Missoula experience with Extra, Extra! Campers work directly with Missoula directors in a small group and create a collaborative project that is showcased on performance night.
Singing for the Stage
Session 1:
July 22–25 | Ages 8–11
Session 2:
July 29–August 1 | Ages 11+
Instructor: Lucia Palmieri
Learn a singer’s secrets to earning the golden ticket. Do you have what it takes to turn her chair around? Led by Lucia Palmieri, a Juilliard-trained soprano with a critically acclaimed debut at Carnegie Hall, campers will discover how to wield their voice to project and perform.
Acting and Audition Prep
Instructor: Lucia Palmieri
Have you ever considered going on a Broadway audition? Learn to be prepared for auditions for all types of acting including film, stage, and voice acting. This intensive will help you prepare a monologue for auditions and introduce you to voice acting.
Step Right Up! An Introduction to Circus Skills
Instructor: Cynthia Rauschert
This intensive has a little bit of everything, for every-body. Athletes, daredevils, problem-solvers and more will love this introductory course into international physical circus skills. At the end of the course, campers will host a showcase for family and friends. No experience necessary: if you believe you can do it, you will.
Lyrical and Improvisational Dance
Instructor: Julianna Patterson
Julianna Patterson has been dancing since the age of 3, having competed at many local competitions and receiving many awards and acknowledgements. Campers will learn the basics of choreography and further their technique training. This is perfect for those that want to keep their passion for dance going throughout the summer.
