Our Youth Art Program is Growing

Starting in January, we're introducing new 2D and 3D classes for kids ages 3-5 aimed at fostering creativity through art exploration. Additionally, we're offering new courses for ages 6-9 in 3D Structures and Color Study to complement our existing lineup.

Classes will be held in our spacious Art Annex classroom adjacent to FVAC's main campus, equipped with ample creative space, a breakout room, bathroom, and kitchen.

Meet our experienced instructor, Taylor Burton, who specializes in preschool and elementary education.

Instructor Taylor Burton

Taylor Burton graduated from the University of Saint Joseph’s with a Masters in the Art of Teaching, and holds an early childhood and special education teaching license. Taylor has worked in public school systems throughout Connecticut with children from ages 2 - 10. Her teaching style incorporates the Reggio Emilia philosophy as well as the Multiple Intelligences theory. In Taylor’s classroom, students guide their own interest-based learning, are invited to socialize and freely engage with peers, are encouraged to get messy, are allowed to break (art) rules, and most importantly have FUN!
