Learn the fundamentals of art, as well as the techniques and skills! You'll have the opportunity to explore different art mediums and styles. From beginners to experts, we've got something for everyone!

Art Classes
with Debbie Wardrope

In Art-Making with Ms. Debbie classes, students learn the fundamentals of drawing, painting, and sculpting and explore various art styles and subjects. There's even a class for kids to explore art history!

In Art Fun with Ms. Debbie classes, students get crafty creating some awesome and fun art projects to celebrate the fall and winter seasons!

Tweens, teens, and adults can also explore art in Debbie's drawing and painting workshops.

Debbie Wardrope is a Bay Area native and longtime Pleasanton resident who has always loved art and has pursued painting for most of her life.

Sketching and Acrylic Painting
with Zina Kassab

All levels are welcome and no experience is necessary in Zina's sketching classes! Learn how to use sketching pencils, shade, and learn a variety of sketching techniques while sketching landscape, seascape, and still life.

In Zina's acrylic classes, learn all about painting with acrylics, mix colors, and explore acrylic techniques and textures. Students will paint a landscape or still life from a photo.

Kids will have fun painting with acrylics too! Students will create themed paintings using sponges, different brushes, and other fun materials! They will be guided with step-by-step instructions and will go home with beautiful works of art.

Art Made Easy
with Charlotte Severin

In this intermediate/advanced class, you will get to experiment with watercolor, textures, rice paper collage, and painting. Subject matter includes people, animals, and nature paintings from life or abstract. Some watercolor experience needed.

Charlotte is an award winning Bay Area Plein Air Artist whose works are displayed in public and private collections in the United States and many foreign countries! She has led painting trips for forty years and taught watercolor for 27 years for The City of Pleasanton.
