On July 9, 2024, Donald Trump held a campaign rally at Trump National Doral in Miami-Dade County. In response, the Florida Democratic Party has released the following statement:

“Donald Trump spent more time rambling about golf tonight than laying out a vision for America,” said FDP Chair Nikki Fried. “And the vision that he did lay out, Project 2025, is an existential threat to our country. His threats against immigrants, women, the LGBTQ+ community, and more should terrify all of us — because if he wins, we know that he’ll do everything possible to make sure he ends democracy as we know it. That’s why we have to do everything possible to defeat Trump and re-elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris this November.”
