We open with Rhapsody in Blue, a groundbreaking composition celebrating its centennial, which became a pivotal moment in music history. We’ll close the season with Requiem Americano, an award-winning new composition, inspired by pivotal issues in modern American society. In between those two unique and complex compositions, you will hear the full spectrum of what the GSO is known for: programming that is imaginative, powerful, and fun!
