Native American Drum Circle
All ages are welcome to this hands-on experience of Native American drumming, dancing and singing on Sunday, November 5, from 2-4 PM at the Foothills Library. Play an authentic handmade frame drum and powwow drum, learn a Cherokee welcome song, and dance using hoops! All instruments will be provided and no musical experience is necessary.
This program will be facilitated by Dr. Lydia A. Woods, a retired college professor of African-Native American heritage and the Founder & CEO of Drum Arizona, Inc.
