From: Glendale Public LibraryTeen Afterhours: Nerf Battle!
Prepare for an epic Nerf battle across the Heroes Regional Park Library on Friday, January 5, from 6:30-8:30 PM! We'll supply the Nerf guns and darts — you just need to bring yourself and your friends. Construct forts, armor, or dart carriers from cardboard, or practice your aim at the shooting range. Feel free to bring your basic Nerf guns and protective eyewear, but remember, no Rival darts/dart guns or motorized Nerf guns will be allowed. Ages 12-18 only.

Teen Afterhours: Glow Party!
Don't miss our glow-in-the-dark party at the Foothills Library on Friday, January 12, from 6:30-8:30 PM! Discover the science of luminescence and what makes stuff glow. Decorate a T-shirt, play glow-in-the-dark games with your friends, and more! This event is open only to tweens and teens, ages 10-18. Registration is required. Once the program begins, the doors will be locked and no one will be allowed to leave until the program ends, except in case of an emergency

Family STEAM Project: Night Sky Tour
Bring your family on a celestial adventure on Monday, January 8, from 6-8 PM at the Heroes Regional Park Library! An expert from the Phoenix Astronomical Society will provide a live tour of the night sky through a telescope, including planets, planetary nebulae, star clusters, and maybe even a supernova remnant. This basic astronomy lesson is suitable for all ages. Let's explore the cosmos together!
