From: New Jersey Governor Phil MurphyToronto, Ontario — Choose New Jersey, New Jersey’s leading nonprofit business attraction organization, during the Governor-led Mission to Canada, and alongside RxSource, a global leader in clinical trial services, on Sep 9th, announced the creation of assembly, packaging, and distribution jobs at the company’s new distribution facility in West Deptford as it continues its major U.S. expansion in New Jersey.
“New Jersey’s thriving life sciences ecosystem remains an international leader through our collaboration with international partners, and Canada is no exception,” said New Jersey Governor Murphy. “The impact of new jobs in the industry will not only benefit the communities in West Deptford, but the international life sciences industry as RxSource continues their critical work across New Jersey and the world.”
RxSource provides global clinical trial sourcing, packaging and labeling, and storage and distribution services for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. The company is currently relocating from its facility in Secaucus. The new site is a 48,000+ sq. ft. space – seven times larger than the Secaucus space – and is expected to be fully operational later this year.
“We are so excited that RxSource is growing their footprint in New Jersey, bringing dozens of jobs to the state, as we strengthen our economic ties with Canada,” said Wesley Mathews, President and CEO of Choose New Jersey. “Choose New Jersey is thrilled to support the ongoing growth of our State’s top life sciences companies.”
"This expansion marks a significant achievement for RxSource and is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence,” stated Yussuf Goolam, CEO of RxSource. “It reflects the relentless effort of our global team and the trust our clients place in us. As we experience growing demand, we are excited to invest in a facility that aligns with our ambitious vision for the future. This new space, bolstered by the dedication of our team, partners, and stakeholders, will enable us to fulfill our mission of improving patients' lives."
