"Open To All (OTA) class has friendly conversation about insight from Scripture for challenging events in the week’s news. All are welcome."

Seekers Class - MAC Multi-Purpose Room 06-08

"Seekers class is a coed class with a variety of ages. We use a discussion format with lots of input from members. We use the Formations Adult Bible Study literature. We welcome all who would like to join us."

Sophia Class - Sophia Room 138

"Sophia class is an adult women's class using The Upper Room Ministries Disciplines daily devotions book following the Revised Common Lectionary with a Hebrew scripture, New Testament scripture, Psalm, and Epistle scripture each week."

Each month we choose the organization or work that our Generosity Box donations will be given to.
For the month of May are collecting for Passport Kids.
Donate throughout the month in support of this opportunity for our children.

Habitat Build Day is Friday, June 2nd from 8am to 2pm
Join the GCBC team to help build the
2023 Apostles Build House at 1023 Jamison Avenue SE.
Anyone 16+ is welcome to help out.  No experience necessary.

OWLS Event after church on Sunday, June 4th at 1:00

- Youth Basketball Skills Camp sponsored by Craig Hamilton's RISE project as a community outreach program.

- The purpose of the camp is to provide a Christian environment for middle school youth to improve their basketball skills at no cost to participate.

- The camp will be conducted June 26-30 in the MAC gym by experienced high school and college coaches.

- The boys session is 1:30 to 3:00 and the girls session is 3:30 to 5:00.

- Spots are limited to 16 boys and 16 girls.

- Registration forms must be received by June 12th.

Impact Missions Shares Update on 4:7 Care Boxes to Ukraine:

Impact Missions and the BGAV churches and individuals have generously supported Ukrainian refugees with well over $500,000 in donations so far. Through the European Baptist Federation, our support goes toward different refugee ministries in countries neighboring Ukraine.

For example, the Baptist Seminary as well as Project Ruth, both in Bucharest, Romania, have continued to host refugees as well as transport food relief into Ukraine. BGAV has channeled funding to those efforts, especially to provide “4:7 Boxes,” each of which provides a family of four with enough food for seven days.

The “4:7 Boxes” are transported to a small town just inside Ukraine, called Izmail. Some of the boxes are distributed to displaced families taking refuge in the Izmail area, some are used at a previously abandoned retreat center, and some are shipped on to Odessa for further distribution.
