DES MOINES - Members of the Republican National Committee's Bank Your Vote Iowa Leadership Team Senator Chuck Grassley, Governor Kim Reynolds and Representatives Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Zach Nunn voted today on the first day of early voting in Iowa to rally enthusiasm across the state for the November 5 general election. The elected officials voted early in person and encouraged their family and friends to do the same.

"You never know what Election Day will look like for you and your family. The safest way to ensure your vote makes a difference is to vote early. Too often Republicans have lost elections before Election Day. The direction of our country is at stake and we need every Republican to get to the polls and bring a neighbor, friend or family member," Sen. Grassley said.

“Today Kevin and I voted early at our county auditor’s office. Early voting is the easiest way to ensure your vote is counted and in the bank for President Trump and Republican candidates, allowing them to use their valuable resources to turn out even more voters so we can win races up and down the ballot," said Gov. Reynolds.

"I urge you to vote early and make your voice heard starting on the very first day of early voting. Voting early ensures that your ballot is counted and in without delay, and it removes any doubt, you can even track your vote online through the SOS. By casting your vote on the first day of early voting, you're taking a more proactive role in shaping our future and making sure Iowa stays red. Bank your vote!” Rep. Miller-Meeks said.

"Your voice in our democracy is critical," said Rep. Nunn. "As a dad of six, I know how busy life can get. Voting early ensures you make your voice heard - even if life gets in the way. Voting early is safe, secure, and easy - grab a friend or a neighbor and cast your ballot today!"

“With so many strong Conservative candidates on the ballot across Iowa this year, it is vital that you make sure they receive your vote. Every vote counts, and you don’t want an unexpected life event to keep you from getting to the polls. This important election will decide what kind of country our grandchildren, like mine, will grow up in. Get to the polls as early as you can!” said Chairman Kaufmann.
