The Great Barrington Libraries are kicking the summer off with a host of amazing programs!

On Saturday, June 10th (11am-3pm) the Housatonic Improvement Committee is celebrating the village of Housatonic with Party in the Park where Ramsdell Library will facilitate a Map Your Housatonic project, and the Friends of the Great Barrington Libraries will have used books available for suggested donation.

Also on Saturday, June 10th (10am-12pm) you can visit Youth Services at the Great Barrington Farmer’s Market and learn more about the Summer Reading Program.

Laurie Harrison, about the many exciting things planned for the Summer Reading program this year:
Build it! Express it! Create it!
Find Your Voice! at GB Libraries starts June 5.

This summer we welcome you and your family to explore our amazing collection and to discover something new at a library program. Kids who participate in summer learning maintain their skills and are better prepared to start school in the fall. GB Libraries make it easy and fun!
Read:
- Kids and teens ages 0-17 who read or are read to can earn rewards.
- Participants can write book reviews and complete activities for more prizes.
