On Thursday, August 22, Congressman Dan Bishop held his latest Law & Order Tour event in Raleigh.

Bishop talked with a number of guests at the event, including former Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison, NC-13 Republican Congressional nominee Brad Knott, and former N.C. Highway Patrol Commander Bill Grey.

The event also included the official announcement of a major endorsement: the North Carolina Division of the Police Benevolent Association.

David Rose, the NCPBA President, informed Bishop of the group's endorsement.

The NCPBA has previously endorsed Josh Stein for the office of Attorney General - with Thursday's announcement a sharp rebuke of Jeff Jackson and North Carolina Democrats' continued anti-Law Enforcement policy stances.

"Dan Bishop is only choice for North Carolina Attorney General that unquestionably stands with Law Enforcement and for law and order. He has fought to uphold our constitutional rights for over 30 years and will deliver for families in our state," said NCGOP Communications Director Matt Mercer.
