Join ICA LA for the LA Art Book Fair

Join us for early morning workshops held in partnership with the Printed Matter LA Art Book Fair. Before the fair opens, ICA LA will be hosting hands-on workshops led by small-scale presses. While you’re here, check out ICA LA’s Bookshelf Residency with Cardboard House Press and Reparations Club and our summer season of exhibitions featuring the work of Carmen Argote, Alberta Whittle, and Tr??ng Công Tùng. Light breakfast and beverages will be served.

LAABF Workshop:
Typographic Spirograph: Experimental Letterforms with Savi Factory
Saturday, August 12, 9–11am, In-person
ICA LA

Led by Savithri Velaga of Savi Factory, participants will use a spirograph drawing tool created specifically for typography; the resulting letterforms converge analog geometry alongside moments of improvisational drawing.
