Dear ICA LA Community,

This week's newsletter is dedicated to the incredible range of programs that we have in store for you during the month of March!

GATHER with us for Beats & Beats Thursdays featuring the sounds of percussionists Ted Byrnes and Mekala Session, LEARN a new language with our Intro to ASL courses led by Shmuel Khorsandi in partnership with the Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness (GLAD), and participate in TRANSFORMING the community by attending a film screening and artist-led conversation in support and solidarity with the women’s movement in Iran. In this spirit of cultivating community, we are especially excited to be partnering with Contemporary Art League (CAL), a growing trade cooperative building unity, solidarity, and equity among art workers in Los Angeles who will be hosting monthly meetings at the museum for art workers to listen, talk, get inspired, and take action.

Together, these programs and partnerships illuminate ICA LA as a space of gathering, learning, and transformation, offering new opportunities to engage with one another and with our current exhibitions featuring the work of Milford Graves, Jacqueline Kiyomi Gork, and Christine Sun Kim. As always, ICA LA and all its programs are free and open to all!
