From: Institute Of Contemporary Art MuseumDear ICA LA Community,
Thank you to everyone who came out last weekend to celebrate Lunar New Year and the opening of Scratching at the Moon. It was the biggest turnout for an ICA LA Open House we've ever seen—with more than 800 people in attendance—and we couldn’t have imagined a better kick off to our spring season!
Throughout this month, we have a handful of additional opportunities for you to gather, learn, and transform at ICA LA. Coming up next week, we have the return of our monthly meeting for artists and arts workers with Contemporary Arts League (CAL) as well as Intro to ASL classes with Shmuel Khorsandi. While you’re here, don’t miss your chance to check out some new merchandise in the ICA LA Shop and some incredible books, bags, and more for sale as part of Bookshelf Residency: Ooga Booga.
Do you want to be a part of what we’re building at ICA LA? Join our team! We have openings in both our Development and Learning & Engagement departments. Scroll down for additional information or visit our website under Opportunities to learn more about how to apply.
See you soon,
Team ICA LA

NEW ICA LA MERCH
Crafted in radiant yellow and screen-printed on recycled cotton by Everybody.World, the Where You At Tote not only reflects the warmth of the California sun, but also debuts an original illustrated map of ICA LA's location in the Arts District—designed by artist (and ICA LA team member) Chloe Hiu See Tsang.
This tote is a great companion as you navigate the city streets and the illustrated map will spark conversations and connections wherever you go. Embrace the spirit of 'Where You At' with this tote—a wearable celebration of art, sustainability, and community. Made in Los Angeles and available at ICA LA or online at the ICA LA Shop.
Carry around the iconic ICA LA logo with functional flair and artistic edge. The logo was designed by artist Mark Bradford when ICA LA moved to its current home in the Arts District in 2017. Bradford was inspired by merchant posters found throughout DTLA that “point to the fluidity of both economics and culture.”
All proceeds from the Market Bag go towards supporting ICA LA’s roster of dynamic exhibitions and Learning & Engagement programs, ensuring that we remain free and open to all.
