Have a ball with Kidzu this New Years’ Eve! Bounce in and ring in 2023 Kidzu style with our twist on the traditional ball drop. We will count down to noon and celebrate with bubbles, special activities, and all the cheer for the new year! Plan your visit!

This activity is included with museum admission. Kidzu will be open from 10am – 2pm.

The Questioneers Traveling Exhibit

The Questioneers book series, written by Andrea Beaty and illustrated by David Roberts, celebrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Alongside the inquisitive characters, every budding architect, engineer, scientist, mathematician, leader, and artist will find inspiration to solve everyday mysteries and to think more critically about their world.

Storytime with Darren Farrell

Friday, December 30th | 11 AM - 11:30 AM

Meet local author Darren Farrell and listen to a reading of a few of his books! Darren Farrell is an award-winning author and illustrator of books for children. His book, Thank You, Octopus, was an NPR Best Book of the Year, a Huffington Post Funniest Book of the Year and was called a “modern day toddler classic” by NPR. His fourth book Letter Town is being turned into the upcoming Audible Original show Letter Town Detective. This meet and greet, storytime, and book signing is included with admission!

Join Samantha Shannon, a Kidzu educator with a Master’s in Early Childhood Education and 10 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and caregivers. Each session includes time for child-directed play, collaborative art and STEM projects, and group story time. Come play!
