Gingerbread Workshop

It’s back! Design your own winter wonderland at our Gingerbread House Decorating Workshop! We’ll have all the materials (and sweets!) you’ll need to decorate the perfect gingerbread house for the holidays. All ages welcome!

$25/Gingerbread House (maximum of 2 children/house)

Optional Add Ons: Add LED lights to your gingerbread house for an additional $5/house. Add a little sparkle and learn about electricity with this LED light add-on! Drop-off option available at check-in for ages 6+ for $5/child.

Festive Friday

Join us for Stories and Snaps with Santa! Santa will be at Kidzu the next three Fridays to take photos and do storytime!

For a limited time only, Kidzu will be offering ‘Make and Take’ craft kits to bring an extra dose of cheer this holiday season! With two activities to choose from, each kit contains all the supplies needed to turn your project into a truly one-of-a-kind collectable and holiday experience. Craft kits contain either a wooden picture frame or TWO double-sided wood ornaments, a paint set of 12 colors of paint, two sizes of paint brushes, a paint pallets, sparkle snowflake stickers, ribbon, and glitter glue.

Parents' Night Out

Saturday, December 9th from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Parents, you deserve a night out! Leave the childcare to us! Kids will enjoy a fun–filled night, including exhibit play & exploration, a staff led activity, and dinner from Alfredo’s Pizza Villa. This drop-off event is currently for children ages 3 – 9 (must be potty independent) from 6:00 – 9:00 PM on select Fridays and Saturdays each month. Kids will exercise their minds, bodies, imagination, and independence.

$30 per child. Add early drop-off at 5:30pm, for only $5 more per child. Advanced registration is required. Kidzu members receive 20% off!

Parents’ Night Out Special Edition: Gingerbread Workshop

Friday, December 15th from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

Special Edition Parents’ Night Out @ Kidzu! During this special edition PNO, kids are invited to explore our exhibits and create their very own Gingerbread Treehouse at Kidzu while parents enjoy an evening out! This fun-filled night will include exhibit play & exploration, dinner from Alfredo’s Pizza Villa, and a show to wind down at the end of the night. This is a drop-off (childcare) program for children ages 5-12 (must be *potty independent). Please note that children will have access to sugary foods and candy during this special edition program.

$45.00 per child. Drop-off begins at 6 PM. Early drop-off at 5:30 PM can be added for $5.00 per child. Members now save 20% on registration for this program! Discounts are applied at checkout. Be sure you’re signed in with your membership account! Please bring a water bottle labeled with your child’s name to this program. Children are welcome to bring pillows/blankets for the show.

Caregiver Education Program: Winter Slow Flow Yoga

Saturday, December 16th from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

This gentle paced class will combine breathwork, movement, and holds to promote circulation and stretching to leave you feeling refreshed in your body and mind. Suitable for all levels! This class is for adults only! Feel free to bring your own yoga mat, although some mats will be available.

New Nest Hours: Open Play Nest Session

Beginning in January

You asked, we listened! The Nest will now be open longer, so you can start and end your play when it works best for you! Come anytime within the 3 hour window and enjoy an hour of child-directed play, collaborative art projects, and STEM activities with your child. Storytime will happen on the hour within the session. Open Play Nest sessions will be from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Older children are welcome to join their younger siblings for the weekday afternoon Open Play sessions from 2:00-5:00 PM! Siblings of any age are welcome, with the understanding that the space is designed for infants and toddlers and older children should play with care.

Please note that starting the week of January 22, the Open Play sessions will NOT be offered on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, to accommodate our Free Supported Playgroups.
