Kidzu is teaming up with Breaking Taboo to help you work through challenging emotions, and to ‘smooth out’ situations where a conversation has already digressed into troubling territory. Get hands-on and proactive as we work though tricky topics around feelings and mental health. Sign up to receive FREE return visit to Kidzu and coupons for Alfredo’s Pizza Villa!
Sessions are held at Kidzu and led by facilitators from the UNC program for public discourse, field experts, and students from the East Chapel Hill High School Civil Discourse Project. Made possible with support from NC Humanities.

Join Kidzu’s early childhood educators and explore our newest addition to the museum, The Nest! Each session includes time for child-directed play, collaborative art and STEM projects, and group story time.

Leave the childcare to us! Kids will enjoy a fun–filled night, including exhibit exploration and dinner from Alfredo’s Pizza Villa. This drop-off event is for ages 3 – 9 (must be potty independent). Kids will exercise their minds, bodies, imagination, and independence.

Join Wei Song to read, sing, play, and learn about Chinese culture and language. This program is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. Stories will be told in both Mandarin Chinese and English.

Join us for guided learning activities for infants, toddlers, and caregivers! This program integrates early literacy and STEM activities into daily routines and focuses on caregiver and child wellness.
