The 2023 Commemorative poster features a sculpture, Acrobat, by Tim Brown. This is the first time a festival poster has featured a sculpture.  

Acrobat will be displayed in the lobby of Park National Bank at 132 W. Main Street for the duration of the Lancaster Festival season.

9AM-6PM: Chalk The Block

All ages are invited to create colorful chalk drawings on the pavement surrounding Fountain Square in Downtown Lancaster. Chalking begins July 19, then finished works are revealed and appreciated by all during ArtWalk on July 21.

With a contagious smile and captivating charm, trumpet virtuoso, BYRON STRIPLING, has ignited audiences internationally. As soloist with the Boston Pops Orchestra, Stripling has performed frequently under the baton of Keith Lockhart, as well as being featured soloist on the PBS television special, "Evening at Pops," with conductors John Williams and Mr. Lockhart. Currently, Stripling serves as the principal pops conductor of the Pittsburgh Symphony and the artistic director and conductor of the highly acclaimed Columbus Jazz Orchestra.
