Celebrando 2023 - SALSA & HERITAGE FESTIVAL

Proyecto Montañas, Colombia & Boricua Mountain Traditions!

JCC Austin Ballroom

June 11, 2023, 3-8pm

Find your dancing shoes! This year's Salsa & Heritage Festival will feature a cultural exchange of Colombia and Puerto Rico's mountain traditions, handcraft artisans and authentic food! Featuring guest artists:

- TrabuRikan Salsa Orquestra -- the BEST Salsa orquesta in Texas!

- Kiko Villamizar - Colombian Folklorist, Musician, Songwriter and Colombian Master artists El Indio Hernandez and Damian Bossio.

- Ricky Villanueva - national award-winning improvisational trovador, musician and composer from Comerio, the Cradle of Trovadors.

- Irvin Santiago Diaz - award-winning Cuatrista and Trovador of improvised décima from Morovis.

- Raul de la Paz - Master Choreographer & Director, Ballet Sangre Viva

- Karla Cortijo - Dancer & Choreographer, Ballet Sangre Viva

- Isaí Chacón - Flamenco Guitarist, Musical Director A'lante Flamenco

- Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance, with Tekina-eirú Maynard, Director, Choreographer, Songwriter.
