The Maine Democratic Party released the following statement:

“Recent reporting on Austin Theriault’s waste of law enforcement’s time and taxpayers’ money in attempts to restrict and control law-abiding citizens' choices shows exactly the type of weird overreach that Mainers will reject at the ballot box on November 5.

“Mainers’ shouldn’t have to look over our shoulders to see if the local lawmaker approves of decisions we make for ourselves and our families at home, in our bedrooms, or in our exam rooms. Austin Theriault is an anti-choice hypocrite who says one thing and does another. He should keep his nose and his votes out of our business, and Mainers should keep aimless Austin out of Congress.”
