Experience the 2023 Manning Street Music Festival. 

Curated by Barrington’s own Emmett Van Leer, this all day festival will showcase some of the best rising talent in jazz from across the country across two stages at the Bay Spring Community Center.

Indoor performances from 7pm-10pm

All proceeds go to supporting the Bay Spring Community Center’s mission to foster community spirit and connect with your neighbors through social, artistic, cultural and educational activities.

Event Lineup:

BHS Jazz All-Stars : These young performers from Barrington High School include current students as well as alumni and will set the tone for the festival, demonstrating exceptional skills and a true passion for jazz.

The Sydney Mecca Trio with Dylan Bean and Erik Lee: Sydney Mecca, an impressive talent on tenor saxophone, will lead a set of standards and new compositions, accompanied by the extraordinary talents of Dylan Bean on bass and Erik Lee on drums.

The Caroline Morton Free Jazz Collective : Embark on an avant-garde journey with the Caroline Morton Free Jazz Collective, as they push the boundaries of improvisation and experimentation, delivering a truly unique experience.

The San Francisco Trio with Emmett Van Leer, Tania Cosma, Alan Jones -The mesmerizing collaboration of classmates from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Emmett Van Leer, Tania Cosma, and Alan Jones take you on a captivating musical odyssey.

Beyanca Guilme: Beyanca Guilme brings a soulful voice to Bay Spring as her exciting band plays a wide spectrum of song from funk to jazz to RnB.

The Stella Densley Quartet : Stella Densley will showcase her remarkable vocal talents and instrumental versatility, backed by a quartet of exceptionally talented musicians.

The Swing Set : Get ready to swing and sway to the infectious rhythms of The Swing Set, a lively ensemble that pays homage to the golden era of jazz while infusing it with their own contemporary flair.

Wildflower: Immerse yourself in the closing set from Wildflower, a band that blends elements of jazz, funk, soul, and rock to create a high-energy musical experience.
