Year End Appeal

Dear Friends,

To our great joy this past summer Maverick was able to present a full season of Saturday evenings, Sunday afternoons and Maverick Family Concerts as we slowly began to emerge from the COVID crisis.  We hope that you had the chance to enjoy many of our performances this past summer – a reminder of blissful past seasons and a promising sign of things to come.  We are eager and hopeful for a further return to normal operations in 2023 and are now in the final stages of assembling a summer of 25 concerts including the 20^th anniversary of the Chamber Orchestra Concert which will be a very special performance this year – more details to come soon!  Sunday concerts will include some artists that have not been heard at Maverick for several years, some new performers and many of the groups that we have come to love. Saturdays will continue the Maverick tradition of offering a diverse range of performers. The Saturday morning Maverick Family Concerts series will go back to free admission with the goal of attracting young families, developing community awareness and building the audience of the future.

If you have seen these emails before, you know that ticket sales only provide approximately one-third of our revenue.  Well, it’s still true, so we need your help again and we need your continued support.  Every dollar that you invest in Maverick Concerts helps us to keep the music playing, to take good care of our landmark hall and to protect our sylvan sanctuary.  Please make your donation today either online at our website or via check sent to Maverick Concerts, Inc., PO Box 9, Woodstock, NY 12498.
