From: Millis Public LibraryThe Millis Public Library will be closing early at 12pm on Wednesday, November 22nd for the Thanksgiving holiday, and will remain closed through Sunday, November 26th. We will be open normal hours again on Monday the 27th!
Stop in before that to get any books, movies, or games you might need, and (if you miss us) check out our E-Resources page to see all the Library resources available 24/7 from anywhere!
Mark your calendars - the Copley Cats are returning to the Millis Public Library on December 16th for another holiday concert! We'll have more details coming to you in the next newsletter, but we wanted to let you know in advance that they're on their way!
Programs
Are you ready? Join us later this week for the next Board Game Night! We'd love to see you on Thursday, November 16th at 6pm to play your favorite games, learn new ones, and meet new board game buddies in the community! We welcome gamers of all levels and will have a new featured game each month for you to try out. Feel free to bring in your favorite game to teach as well!

It's almost time! Come join us for another night of Teen Origami and learn new forms with this ancient art. We'll be folding together starting at 6:30pm on Friday, November 17th, and would enjoy having you with us. We'll have plenty of paper and everything you need - no registration required!
Ready to rock out? Join us on Saturday, November 18th at 7pm for Yellow 45 and a musical tribute to the pop music of the 1970s! Yellow 45 is a musical trio featuring lead and harmony vocals, keyboard, bass guitar, and tambourine. The group performs chart-topping hits from the decade with anecdotal histories about the songs, their authors, and the bands who made these tunes a treasured part of American pop culture. Registration is encouraged, but the concert remains free.
This is a free event sponsored by the Millis Cultural Council, a local agency, and the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. Additional support by Friends of the Millis Library.
This month's Memory Cafe is almost here! A memory café is a welcoming place for individuals and families living with memory changes. Each café event will feature a guest artist or performer, time for conversation, as well as coffee and refreshments.
Come spend the morning with us on Monday, November 20th from 10:30am to 12 Noon in the Roche Brothers Community Room. All are welcome and there is no cost to attend.

Do you like adventure, mystery, and telling stories with your friends? Then come join us and our Dungeon Master for Dungeons and Dragons for Tweens/ Teens! We've gotten a quest for an epic journey where you'll carve your own path through various feats, trials, and magical discoveries in The Lost Shrine of Moa! We need 6 brave adventurers for a one-shot game of D&D 5e!
This is a 5th edition game for 2nd level characters, and will take place on Saturday, December 8th at 12pm.
For Students Ages 10-14, no experience necessary, beginners welcomed!! Register here to sign up for this quest!
