ConEd Family and Community Day: Victorian Valentines
Saturday, February 10th
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Join MJM for our monthly ConEd Family and Community Day! We will be honoring Black History Month with a Valentine's Day twist! All guests are welcome to create their own Victorian era Valentines, as this was the custom during Eliza Jumel's time while residing in the mansion. While doing this, participants can be inspired by our multi-media presentations of famous black women and couples in history.

This program is free and open to the public. All supplies will be provided and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Masks are optional inside the museum.

Virtual Parlor Chat: The Bitter History of Chocolate
Wednesday, February 21st
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
We often associate the month of February with chocolate. However, did you know that chocolate has a bitter history associated with slavery? Join us for this month’s Virtual Parlor Chat as we discuss the history of chocolate and its connections to enslavement with Lavada Nahon, culinary historian.
