A very big thank you to you all, and a special welcome to our newest members of the Mosesian Center for the Arts. Your ongoing support helps us continue to enrich our community through the arts and we appreciate each and every member who has joined us along the way!

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

Since we are more than halfway through 2024, many memberships are due for renewal now. You can easily renew your year-long membership online-just visit our website to update your membership.

Reminder: With contributions of $100 or more to any MCA fund, your benefits also include two complimentary tickets to a Mosesian Arts Live show. Please consider increasing your contribution this year, and claim a pair of tickets to an upcoming performance! 

This year, your support for Mosesian Arts has helped us in countless ways. We have hosted free public art events including artist talks with Edible Watertown,

continue to offer an excellent selection of visual and performing arts classes for youth and adults, and presented a diverse selection of ticketed events along with our Mosesian Arts Live performances.

EXHIBITION NEWS

Join us on Thursday, July 11 5:30-7:30 PM for an Opening Reception for our current exhibition, From the Studios featuring artwork from many of MCA's teaching artists and students. We are very fortunate to have such a talented group of teaching artists working in our classrooms and dedicated and enthusiastic students. With this exhibition, MCA highlights the importance of art education to students of all ages. 

The Call for Art is now open for MCA's Annual Members ExhibitionSubmission Deadline: August 5. Mark your calendar now for the Members Exhibition Opening Reception on September 12, 5:30 PM- 7:30 PM

Don’t forget – As a Mosesian Arts Member, you are guaranteed at least one artwork in MCA’s Members Exhibition annually!

UPCOMING MCA LIVE

Tickets are still available for MCA's Black Box Jazz performance featuring the Eric Mintel Quartet, Thursday, July 11 in the Dinah Lane Theater! Audiences of all ages have been thrilled by their electrifying jazz for over 25 years, including two performances at the White House, several concerts at the Kennedy Center, a special concert at the United Nations, and countless accolades.

WCT UPDATES

Anything Goes: Young Performers' Edition is a wacky shipboard farce featuring romance, intrigue, colorful characters and a glorious score from Cole Porter. WCT's Teen Musical Institute focuses on character creation, text analysis, musicality, and movement, and this small cast of students entering Grades 8-12 are sure to wow you with what they can do in only three weeks of rehearsals!

Tickets are free, but please consider making a donation to our Tuition Assistance Program. Reservations also help us to know how many people we are expecting for the show! Reserve your seats now.

A few spaces are still available for participants entering grades 6-8 in our Summer Youth Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone Jr. This loving satire of the Golden Age musical features funny and entertaining musical numbers and unique characters. The program runs July 29-August 9, 9 AM - 3 PM with a performance on Friday, August 29 at 3 PM.

Be sure to mark your calendars, registration for all Fall Education Programs opens August 1 at 6 PM!
