THE NORMAL HEART | JUNE 21 - JULY 9

Larry Kramer’s Tony Award winning autobiographical drama, The Normal Heart, is set during the AIDS epidemic in New York City in the early 1980’s. This powerful, passionate, and controversial play was the first to treat seriously the poignant and devastating subject of AIDS. The script traces Ned Weeks, a gay activist writer, through his fight for visibility and justice for the gay community. Produced by New Repertory Theatre, this production runs through July 9.

FLOW: ART INSPIRED BY MOVEMENT AND SOUND

In our galleries, FLOW: Art Inspired by Movement and Sound displays works that explore the connections between music, dance, and the visual arts. How does movement and sound translate into visual art? Cultures around the world often effortlessly combine the visual in the form of costumes, masks, or adornments with music and dance. Artists are inspired in a more direct way by movement and music, from the representational to more ephemeral or conceptual in nature.
