Job Specifics:

-$21.95-$25.58 per hour—Federal Wage Grade 5 pay scale for duty station in Ridgefield, CT.

-Position open until filled, target start date April, 2023.

-Six-month seasonal position.

-Schedule is Wednesday to Sunday.

-Health benefit options.

-This is a Federal job with the National Park Service. A background check and wearing the NPS uniform is required and provided.

-Must possess a valid drivers license.

-Park staff are expected to have a positive attitude, be highly motivated, and have the ability to work independently, taking initiative to complete a variety of tasks and manage their time wisely. As a team we value equity and collaboration.

Job Duties:

General building maintenance, custodial duties including cleaning restrooms, mowing and grounds maintenance. We are seeking a supportive team member who will help other employees when needed and perform work independently while observing appropriate safety practices.

Please note: Housing is not available at Weir Farm National Historical Park. The applicant is responsible for housing and transportation. A background check is required for all positions.
