DO SOMETHING: Countdown to Election Day (Nov. 5)

The Nebraska Democratic Party, candidates, and county parties are hosting events as we countdown to election day, Nov. 5, 2024 (polls open 8 a.m.- 8 p.m. CT). 

We welcome you to do something (as Michelle Obama told us during the national convention) with our party to win races up and down the ballot!

Make sure you are registered at your current address and confirm other voting info at IWillVote.com

ONGOING EVENTS

Every Tuesday: Democrats Night of Action (every Tuesday evening with Douglas County Democrats) 

Every Wednesday and Thursday: Phone bank for Harris + Walz in Omaha or from your house

Every Saturday: Canvass with Harris + Walz team in Omaha 

Every Week: Canvass with Preston Love

EverydayRequest a yard or barn sign (or come to our Omaha or Lincoln office to grab one Mon-Friday 9 am-4 pm)

Everyday: Know the candidates on your ballot

Everyday: Get the camo hat and shirts to show your #NebDems pride

Everyday: Sign up to volunteer, and we will be in touch

Everyday: Donate to help elect Dems up and down the ballot (keep your money local!)

Now until October 11: Request a Vote By Mail application from us so you can vote from home.

September 7-October 7: Block Captains bring DemsDeliver newspaper to their neighbors (sign up to be a Block Captain)

October 20-Nov 5: Block Captains call voters who still have their mail-in ballots (sign up to be a Block Captain)

October 25: Deadline to submit your application to vote by mail (by 6 pm CT) to your county election office

October 30: Deadline to mail your ballot so it arrives by Nov. 5

November 4: Deadline to vote early in-person at your county election office

November 5: Deadline to drop off your ballot at a drop box or your county election office (by 8 pm CT). Look up where drop boxes are here

November 5: Election Day (find your polling location, know the candidates, get all the info you need)
