This tune-filled documentary traces the life of Yani Spanos from the Greek village of Kioto to Paris to Athens, and captures the legacy of the prolific composer who died suddenly in 2019 at the age of 85. Low profile and adverse to self-promotion, Spanos felt that his music speaks for him. Many of his memorable songs are performed here by a veritable who's who in Greek popular music.
