"The New York State Democratic Committee is focused on our tremendous efforts to flip the House majority and elect Democrats down the ballot this November," said Governor Kathy Hochul. "I’m grateful for Jay Jacob’s dedication to the State Committee and for his commitment to ensuring Democrats win in every corner of our state."

"One man has been laser focused on the election of Democrats up and down the ballot for well over 20 years," said Lynne Boecher, Warren County Chair, who nominated the Chair for another term. "Our Chairman Jay Jacobs has been that steady rudder who's guided our ship, our party, with purpose, with confidence, and with loyalty to the principles of good government and fairness and representation for all in this state. Jay has worked tirelessly to include all stakeholders, be they urban, suburban or rural, in all discussions and proposed solutions. Never too busy to take a call or lend a hand, support a coordinated effort, like our current coordinated campaign, our Chairman seeks no personal credit. I am proud to nominate him for another term as Chair."

“I am honored to have the unanimous support and confidence of the New York State Democratic Committee in another term as Party Chair,” said New York State Democratic Party Chairman Jay S.
