State Police Museum holds Annual 'Runaway Day'
Troopers and their families, as well as many local residents, had a chance to meet Ed Locke—the real “runaway” from Norman Rockwell’s 1958 painting—last month at the Massachusetts State Police Museum and Learning Center.
“Every year, we have what we call a ‘Runaway Day,’” said Paul Landry, a board member and volunteer at the State Police Museum. “It’s a fun day and pretty much the highlight of the year.”
