From: Norman Rockwell MuseumRockwell's Studio is Officially Open For the Season!
Wonderful Mother's Day Weekend Experience
Guided Tour of the historic Studio where Rockwell painted, corresponded, posed models, and even napped for more than 20 years, creating iconic works on view in the Museum. Archival materials, photographs, and records offer visitors a step back in time to when Rockwell was actively painting.
Rockwell called his Stockbridge studio, his “best studio yet.” The building was originally located in the backyard of his home on South Street in Stockbridge, Mass. In 1976, toward the end of his life, Rockwell left the studio and its contents to Norman Rockwell Museum. The building was cut in two and moved to the Museum’s grounds in 1986.
Tours of Norman Rockwell’s Studio are available daily (except on Wednesdays), advanced online reservations are recommended. Reservations are scheduled in 20-minute increments. You may visit the main Museum galleries before and/or after your Studio time

Drawing Life with Abigail Lashbrook
On-Demand Beginning: Thursday, May 18, 2023
About Abigail: I’m an illustrator based in NYC. I absolutely love both books and paint, which is why I became a book illustrator. I studied illustration at the famed Academy of Art in San Francisco, and afterward moved to New York City.
In addition to plein-air painting, I also do floral still lifes for fun and practice, as well as my main focus, book illustration. I completed my first children’s book, Starlee the Sanibel Sea Turtle, last year. It was such a delight to work on, and I’m currently working on developing another book.
About Drawing Life Series: This monthly series of online and on-demand programs features leading illustrators from across the United States demonstrating their craft and discussing ways in which published illustration reflects and shapes society and advances social good.
