From: Opera Guild of RochesterSupport What You Love
Dear Opera Lovers,
This past year has been one of recovery, and as we and the world returned to in-person events, we supported several organizations to enable their efforts. We were a significant contributor to FLO’s 10th Anniversary Gala Concert, a wonderful performance. We were an underwriter of a Fringe Festival production, a premiere of scene from a new Twelfth Night by a local opera composer and contributed to the Pegasus performance of L’Orfeo, Syracuse Opera, Glimmerglass and the RPO.
Your continued support is integral to our mission of fostering opera appreciation and participation in the Rochester area. Not only have we resumed our pre-Covid calendar of activities, we’ve added events. Perhaps you caught Jessica Moss and Chadwick DeHaven singing at Pittsford Community Library a few weeks back. We’ve also scheduled an in-person holiday concert with Mark Daniels and Rob Goodling for December 7. We also have new lectures this year that we know you’ll enjoy. Three live Bravo Nights are scheduled - they are recorded and clips are available on our YouTube channel. And in January, we are pleased to present our 4-part Beat the Blahs series on Sunday afternoons with a venue change to the Casa Italiana.
Your generous gift means so much to the Guild as we seek to expand our impact.
