9:00 a.m: Iron Tote
Ideal for retreats, sewing classes, or as a gift for your quilting friends, this heat-proof tote for your iron unfolds into an ironing pad measuring 15" x 20". This charming tote reduces trips to the ironing board, allowing you to iron right up until the last minute of class and then safely store the hot iron inside. It's designed to be fat quarter friendly for the main fabric and is sized for a travel iron, not a mini-iron.

11:00 a.m: TV Tray
Ever wished for something convenient and nearby to iron on, so you wouldn't have to pause and walk to the ironing board? These ironing boards crafted from TV trays are amazing, incredibly quick, and simple to create! The class will guide you through crafting a removable and washable slipcover for your TV tray. And when it wears out, you can easily remove it and fashion a new one.

12:30 p.m: Pin cushions
You won’t want to miss this "make and take" class with Patsy Nelson. Patsy has been so generous to make kits already cut out for these darling pin cushions.

12:30 p.m: Scrappy Stockings
Also at 12:30, Patsy will be teaching how to make scrappy Christmas stockings. Like the name says, these are made from scraps. Patsy has some fun tips that you may have never heard of before. She is the queen of resourceful sewing.

1:30 p.m: Foundation Paper Piecing and Tutorial
Have you ever wondered how some quilts have perfectly lined up corners and everything about them looks beautiful and exact? A technique called paper piecing allows you to produce this beautiful appearance. Come join us in learning how to do a simple paper/foundation pieced tulip block. It is super fun and beware can be addictive. You will love how your points will pop.

Saturday's Demos:

10:00 a.m: Be a-Frayed, be Very A-Frayed
Chenille-ing, Faux Chenille, Slashing or fraying are just a few of the names it is known by. Stack it, sew it, slash it and the result is an original piece of work. Once you learn the basics the sky's the limit. "Chenilled" fabric can be turned into something soft and cuddly like a toy, something practical like potholders, burp clothes, or even a rug. For the ambitious, baby blankets or lap quilts are possibilities.  Sorry, I’m not that ambitious.

10:00 a.m: And That's a (cord) Wrap
Organize your electrical cords with these adorable, functional, and simple-to-make cord wraps. They're a fantastic method to utilize that last scrap of your cherished fabric you're reluctant to throw away. This project is perfect for beginning sewers. Cord wraps are wonderful for gifts and stocking stuffers.
