The Plymouth Ice Festival is a world-class event in beautiful downtown Plymouth that is exciting and fun for the whole family. Furthermore, the event is committed to spreading the word about downtown Plymouth and helping the local business community thrive through event outreach and marketing efforts.

Sculptures are available for viewing 24 hours a day and will remain standing after the event – weather permitting.

What to expect at this years Festival:

The Plymouth Ice Festival invites your to explore downtown Plymouth, with sidewalks lined with ice carvings. To help with social distancing, we are spreading ice carving displays, in front of merchants and restaurants, in the downtown area. We hope you will enjoy and embrace this years version of the Plymouth Ice Festival and sincerely thank you for your loyal support.

Events:

2nd Annual Preview Party for Special needs families Presented by The Miracle League of Plymouth and Thrivent

This Free event brought to you by Thrivent will have Ice Blocks to touch, Winter themed arts and crafts, hot beverages, fun ice games with prizes and performances by Michigan Michigan, Jeff Wawrzaszek and One Spot Theatre. Michigan Magician, Jeff Wawrzaszek will be doing walk around magic between 6:30-7:30pm, we will have winter themed arts and crafts, fun games with prizes, ice blocks to touch, and other ice related fun! This is a free event thanks to our sponsor Thrivent!

Measures will be taken to assure event is as sensory friendly as possible.

Ice carvings!!!

Enjoy sidewalks lined with ice carvings in downtown Plymouth. Each work of art starts out as a 350 lb. block of ice! World renown ice carvers have created over 60 carvings to be displayed during this year’s event!

ICE FESTIVAL BINGO Presented by the Rotary Club Of Plymouth.

Collect enough stickers to get a bingo and enter to win a prize from The Plymouth DDA. Bingo cards are available by clicking on this link  or by stopping in one of the participating businesses.

The Hot Spot Heated By Ehlers Heating and Air Conditioning

Warm up in style at the Hot Spot, heated by Ehlers Heating and Air Conditioning. Located under The Gathering directly across from Kellogg Park. The Hot Spot features local vendors, businesses, product demonstrations, a sitting area to take a load off your feet and (most importantly) lots of heat! The Hot Spot is open during all of the official open hours of the Festival.

Downtown Plymouth is full of an eclectic gathering of shops, apparel stores, eateries, salons and spas.

ICE THRONE Presented by Genisys Credit Union.

For years, this unique ice carving is the perfect setting for pictures with the family. Festival guests will feel like ”Ice Festival Royalty” as they take a seat atop the Ice Throne. This activity has been a tradition for many families, as they return for that picture every year.

Family Petting Zoo Presented by Michigan First Credit Union

Located next to the Ice Playground, our friends at Carousel Acres will be offering a hands on experience with horses, donkeys, goats. sheep, alpaca and even a baby calf . This activity is great for kids or those that are young at heart. This years Petting Farm will also feature pony rides!
