21st Original Community Theatre Musical
December 9-10, 2023

This December we debut our 21st original musical rich in history and magic! Set in the mid-19th century - before the end of the Abolition of Slavery in Puerto Rico - our story reveals relatively unknown history, breaks historical stereotypes, and features a cast of strong women who are ahead of their time!

Each year, our annual play combines community theatre, original live music, dance, and cocobalé sticks & machete fighting to bring history to life and honor unsung heroes! Our musical will feature original Bomba, Plena, Jibaro, and Taino music!

The Prince & The Pana will enjoy a full cast including 8 actors, fighters, dancers, musicians, extras and cameo performances by our cultural center children! Tickets and more information coming this Fall.

Our Boriwood productions can never have enough dancers or musicians.
