Please join us this December for some great programs.

Youth (Ages 0-18) - Youth Winter Reading begins December 5 and runs through February 18 for ages 5 - 18! Sign up now at safetyharborlibrary.beanstack.org and get ready to read for prizes. Get building during LEGO League, a drop-in program for ages 3-12 on Thursdays, explore water pollution through art and poetry with Crystal Clear Pond, the Unseen World of Water Pollution, an all-ages program on December 17, and enjoy Starlite Puppet Show for ages 2-8 on December 28. Tweens (ages 9-12) can paint a snowy owl during Tween Painting on December 6 and decorate Tween Gingerbread Houses on December 13 while teens (ages 13-18) can try out a Generic vs Name Brand Taste Test on December 7.

Adults - Learn how to Build a Charcuterie Box on December 1, create beautiful and unique art during Handmade Book Club on December 6, and enjoy songs and sounds of the season during Wonder & Light - Holiday Concert with Living By the Stream on December 8. The Friends of the Library Book Sale under the Baranoff Oak will be held on December 10 and our new Wellness Lifestyle program on wholistic living continues on December 12. This month's Saturday Movie Matinee is Into the Wild (R, 2007), on December 17.

Ancestry - Library Edition

With your library card, you can access Ancestry - Library Edition for free while inside the library. This robust database includes census records, immigration information, military records, and other vital information for genealogical research. Visit our e-library page for more information.

Home Delivery Service
Did you know our Outreach Services department offers delivery service for Safety Harbor residents who are unable to visit the library themselves?
