From: San Diego Natural History MuseumIt's Figeater Season Y'all
And they are coming for your head.
We're just kidding. These clumsy, green jewel-like beetles aren't actually trying to terrify you, the kids, or your dog. They are just bad pilots.
You will begin to spot more and more figeater beetles, as summer is their mating season, and they are ready for love!
